Early Life and Showbiz Career
</h4>
<p>
Before her illustrious career in law, Justice Victorino, fondly known as "Espie", was a popular actress and singer in the late 1960s and early 1970s. She starred in several movies with <a href="https://kahimyang.com/articles/2945/eddie-peregrina-the-original-jukebox-king-was-on-born-november-11-1944-in-manila" class="news_link">Eddie Peregrina</a> as her leading man. Her talent and charisma made her a beloved figure in the Philippine entertainment industry.

Transition to Broadcasting and Law
</h4>
<p>
When her showbiz days were over, Espie turned to radio broadcasting. She graduated with a Liberal Arts degree in Communication Arts from the <a href="https://kahimyang.com/kauswagan/articles/763/today-in-philippine-history-november-20-1645-the-university-of-santo-tomas-was-elevated-to-university-status-by-pope-innocent-x" class="news_link">University of Santo Tomas</a>. As a broadcaster, she earned a Catholic Mass Media Award in 1986 for Best Public Service Program for giving free legal aid to the poor in her radio program over DZBB.

Encouraged by her late husband, she pursued further studies in law from the University of Santo Tomas and was admitted to the bar in 1982. She also took masters in Business Administration from the Ateneo Professional Schools and later on took Graduate Studies in Law from the San Beda College.
