Early Life and Education

Baldomero was born on February 27, 1869 in Cavite el Viejo (now Kawit), Cavite. He was the son of Cipriano Aguinaldo y Jamir and Silveria Baloy. He pursued law at the <a href="https://kahimyang.com/kauswagan/articles/763/today-in-philippine-history-november-20-1645-the-university-of-santo-tomas-was-elevated-to-university-status-by-pope-innocent-x" class="news_link">University of Santo Tomas</a> in Manila but was unable to take the bar examination due to the outbreak of the Philippine Revolution. Despite this setback, he played a crucial role in the revolutionary movement.

Revolutionary Contributions

Baldomero Aguinaldo was instrumental in organizing the Magdalo chapter of the <a href="https://kahimyang.com/kauswagan/articles/906/about-the-katipunan" class="news_link">Katipunan</a> in Kawit, Cavite, alongside his cousin Emilio. He served as the president of the council and fought in several significant battles, including the Battle of Imus and the Battle of Binakayan-Dalahican.
