The Battle of Binakayan–Dalahican

The Battle of Binakayan-Dalahican, fought simultaneously during the Philippine Revolution from November 9-11, 1896, resulted in a decisive Filipino victory. The twin battles occurred along the shores of Binakayan in Cavite Viejo (now Kawit); Dalahican and Dagatan in Noveleta; and, to a lesser extent, in Imus and Bacoor. The conflict, which lasted two days, ended with the Spanish army retreating in disarray. This victory marked the first significant triumph for the Filipino forces in the country's history.
