He was a member of the prestigious <b class="lt-bold">Vasco Lineage</b>, a prominent family from Ronda connected to the Real Maestranza (Royal Guild of Arms and Cavalry). Following family tradition, Basco entered the Spanish Royal Navy, where he distinguished himself through a brilliant military career that would eventually lead to his appointment as a Naval Brigadier.
