6,100 poor families in 13 Leyte towns receive their 4Ps ATM cards

TACLOBAN CITY, Leyte, May 8 (PIA) – Some 6,100 poor families in Leyte who are beneficiaries of the government’s Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) happily received their Landbank ATM cards on May 7, 2011 at the Leyte Provincial Gym.

The beneficiaries are from the first and second districts of Leyte, DSWD Director Leticia Corillo informed.

Tellers from Landbank Justice Romualdez Branch took charge in the distribution of ATM Cards to 2,600 beneficiaries from the municipalities of Babatngon, MacArthur, La Paz, Julita, San Miguel and Burauen.

On the other hand, the tellers from Landbank Real Street Branch distributed 3,500 ATM cards to the 4Ps household beneficiaries from Alangalang, Dagami, Pastrana, Capoocan, Tabontabon, Dulag and Mayorga towns.
