DPWH starts rehabilitation and improvement of Bugko-Nenita-Cagpanit-an National Road

CATARMAN, Northern Samar, May 9 (PIA) – The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) 1st Engineering District of the province of Northern Samar has started rehabilitation and improvement of Bugko-Nenita-Cagpanit-an National Road, in Mondragon, Northern Samar.

This was learned from DPWH OIC District Engineer Sandy Pua in an interview conducted with the Philippine Information Agency.

According to Pua, the two (2) projects, each with an appropriation of Php. 3,000,000.00 is programmed to widen the shoulders and construct masonry works to protect the embankment along the road shoulders. The construction of canals is also an added item to solve the flooding and relieve the settlers from constant fear of floods during rainy season, he added.
