Estehanons swarm GSIS office for calamity loan

BORONGAN, Eastern Samar , May 16 (PIA) Estehanon members of the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) started crowding the Borongan GSIS Sattelite office for calamity loan.

The crowd, said James Perez, a casual employee of GSIS started to swell on May 12, 2011 upon the announcement that a 'calamity loan' was to be offered to GSIS members.

Since then, as early as 6: 00 a. m. members from as far as Arteche up north and Hernani down south started to gather even when the office is still closed. For the special calamity loan offer, GSIS Borongan with this influx of members to be served opens at 7:00 a.m. and closes at 8:00 p.m.
