New Filipino School Al-Bozouq International School Opens in Jeddah

A new school offering the Philippine educational curriculum has opened in Jeddah in the wake of the recent closure of three Filipino schools. Al-Bozouq International School is located near the Philippine Consulate General in Rehab, Jeddah.

Organized by Filipino community leaders in partnership with multinational patrons, the school will teach the curriculum prescribed by the Department of Education in the Philippines, with the approval of the Saudi Ministry of Education.

“Al-Bozouq is instituting e-learning with the cooperation of computer professionals,” said a statement from the school’s managers. “Teachers, students and parents will be able to access the school network for lessons, assignments, grades and other related academic materials.”
