Provincial sustainable agriculture trade fair opens in Catarman today

CATARMAN, Northern Samar, June 13 (PIA) -– In line with the weeklong 46th founding anniversary celebration of the province of Northern Samar, a three-day provincial sustainable agriculture trade fair opens on June 13-15, 2011 at the Provincial Capitol Grounds, Barangay Dalakit, Catarman, Northern Samar.

This was learned from Provincial Information Officer Sylma Lutao in an interview conducted by the Philippine Information Agency.

Lutao said that the agri-trade fair aims to promote the sustainable organic agriculture initiative of the farmersin relation to the Northern Samar Food Security Project of Plan Philippines being implemented in the five municipalities of Catarman, Lope de Vega, San Roque, Catubig and Las Navas.
