As a member of the IAAGCC together with the Civil Service Commission, the Commission on Audit, Department of Justice and the National Bureau of Investigation, the establishment of the Office of the Ombudsman for the Visayas in Region 8 is a welcome move that will enable the fight against corruption in the area cohesive and intensified, ARD Taldo stressed.


Starting July 4, 2011, the new sub-0ffice of the Ombudsman in Region 8, will accept requests for assistance, complaints and applications for the clearance from the Ombudsman.
