Coo attended St Scholastica's College and the Philippine Women's University. She began her bowling career in 1973 and remained active as an athlete until 2000.

Coo's illustrious career is marked by an impressive tally of 78 medals won in regional and world competitions, 37 of which were gold. She is a four-time world champion and a member of both the World Bowling Hall of Fame and the Philippine Sports Hall of Fame.

Her notable achievements include winning the 1979 & 1983 World Championships and the 1979 AMF Bowling World Cup. She also excelled in the Asian Games, clinching titles in Singles, Masters, and All-Events categories in 1978 and 1986.

Coo's contributions to the sport extend beyond her personal achievements. She served as a coach, sports administrator, and sporting apparel design consultant after retiring from professional bowling. She also served as the secretary general for the Philippine Bowling Congress Inc. from 2004 to 2011 and the Philippine Bowling Federation Inc. from 2016 to 2022.
