Philippines vows committment to fight bioweapon proliferation

Philippine Executive Secretary Paquito Ochoa, Jr., recently announced that the Philippines is fully committed to initiatives by foreign governments and international organizations to fight the proliferation of biological weapons.

Ochoa, who heads the cabinet cluster on security, justice and peace, made the comments at the Biological Weapons Convention Conference Week for East Asia and the Pacific held in Makati City, according to PhilStar.com.
