PHL proposes connectivity as priority area for ASEAN+3 Cooperation
MANILA, July 21 (PNA) -- The Philippines called on Thursday on its fellow members in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and its three partners -- Japan, China and South Korea -- to put connectivity as the top priority area in their cooperation.
Foreign Affairs Albert del Rosario, who is now in Bali, Indonesia for the 44th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting, issued the Philippines' call, stressing that there is a need for a “more focused approach” and “high-impact initiatives” to achieve ASEAN connectivity by 2015.
