Japan Grants PhP 398 million Funded to the evacuation shelter construction project in Albay
Japanese Ambassador Toshinao Urabe and Secretary of Foreign Affairs Albert F. Del Rosario signed and exchanged notes on the Japanese Grant Aid for the Project for Evacuation Shelter Construction in Disaster Vulnerable Areas in Province of Albay on August 16, 2011 at the Department of Foreign Affairs in Pa say City.
The grant aid provides a necessary fund up to 739 million yen (approximately 398 million pesos) for the construction and rehabilitation of schools used as evacuation shelters in times of disaster in the Province of Albay.
