P1.4B plunder raps filed vs. ex-President GMA, Mike A., 2 others

MANILA, Sept. 8 (PNA) -- Former President and now Pampanga Rep. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, former First Gentleman Jose Miguel "Mike" Arroyo, and two others, were charged in a P1.4-billion plunder case filed on Thursday before the Office of the Ombudsman.

Aside from the Arroyo couple, also named in the complaint were former Commission on Elections (Comelec) Chairman Benjamin Abalos Sr. and former Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC) Secretary Leandro Mendoza.
