The above demonstration assumes that filename (ex "movie.flv") is passed to the servlet as parameter media. We also 

store location of our media from in a properties as MEDIA_PATH. The code works as it is. Please refer to inline 

comments for details. 



Access your servlet from your JSF page as below. Also note the access to the servlet varies depending on how you created/mapped your servlet. We created this demonstration as MediaServlet and mapped as /MediaServlet. Please see web.xml entry farther down below.
