With the bribery there came an "understood" friendship between the briberee and the briber. New allies were forged. Intimidation, harrasment and bullying followed. The people of Palapag became afraid of the bullies. "Ayaw sin liya bain ka hibati-an ni Miyor" (Keep quite the Mayor will hear you.) is all they can say.



I am not endorsing Prof. Willy for whatever office he intends to run again, if ever he decides to run again. I don't know him personally, I only know he is from Palapag, Northern Samar, but the example he has laid in the past years is very rare.
