Tropical Storm "CHEDENG"

On March 23, 2011, 5:00pm, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) has issued Severe Storm Bulletin number 1 for the approaching "Severe Tropical Storm" code named "Chedeng". In its daily weather forecast, PAGASA said the whole country will experience a generally fair weather except from some scattered rain showers and thunderstorms in some areas during the next 24 hours, which means that the storm is still far to directly affect any parts of the country. As the storm gets closer, some parts of the country will sure get winds and rains. As of now the storm seems not to pose a threat to Eastern Visayas directly. That does not mean, Northen Samar and Eastern Visayas are already safe from the storm. Storm tracks, speed, strength and other storm characteristics sometimes differ from the forecast.
