And the great "oral" majority of the Filipinos agree with Rody's drugs war, which makes Leila de Lima and the yellows' claim of a "silent majority" that has become a force nothing but propaganda and falsity to get Leila out of her detention.
No big silent majority force exists at thi s time exists.


Agreeing that they feel safer now than before, due of course to the anti-drugs war of Rody, Mindanao had 89 percent agreeing, the Visayas had 82 percent, Luzon had 74 percent, and the National Capital Region had 81 percent.
Nationwide, only about nine percent disagreed.


The reality is that with a huge majority of Filipinos nationwide agreeing that the place they live in feels safer today under the Duterte regime, it will be really difficult for attacks against Rody and his war on drugs, no matter how bloody, to be taken seriously.


And when people feel safe in their homes and in the streets, they also feel that drugs, once eliminated in this country — or at least highly controlled, and with more drug addicts rehabilitated, the expectation is that there will be a big improvement of peace and order in the country, save for communist and Muslims in Mindanao and Luzon countryside, which wars may also see an end — depending on peace talks and their success.


However, even the communists know that in an all-out war, they will lose out completely when government starts using all its air and ground assets against the communists.


Rody had already threatened to bomb the communists and its armed New People's Army to kingdom come after he announced that there will be no more peace talks if the NPA continues to kill soldiers and police and continues with their extortion activities using the excuse of collecting their revolutionary tax.


Rody has also warned very recently, that there is no such thing as NPA territory because every inch of the country's territory belong to the Philippines.


Even the Muslim insurgents will have to toe the line for the same reason and if parts of Mindanao turn federal.
That these Muslim insurgents can be demolished and easily too had already been proven during the term of then sitting President Joseph Estrada in his all-out war against the Moro Islamic Liberation Front rebels. The country's camps in Mindanao that the MILF occupied for years, were captured by the military and police and the insurgents scampered away, with their then leader, Hashim Salamat, escaping to Malaysia.


But the US and the political opposition then, hungry for power, used Estrada's excuse to destabilize him and oust him from Malacañang.


But what they did to Estrada, they appear to be having a difficult time doing to Rody.


No matter how often the yellows, the Catholic bishops, the political opposition and even the US media, the US, the UN deny it, they are all out to destabilize Rody and hope to oust him, the way they ousted Estrada.


For the US and its media, no matter who sits in the White House, why do you think they are alarmed at the close friendship between Rody and the Chinese, if not because it is in their interest to be the sole military power in the region and want the Philippine government to toe the US line and protect US interests, even to the detriment of the Philippines.


They won't admit that this is their aim, and because it is in the US interest to lord it over China, through the Philippines so they focus on destabilizing Rody and his government, and eventually get him ousted to have yet another American puppet in the Philippine presidential office, through his campaign against illegal drugs.


But the other reality that the yellows and other detractors of Rody is that the man who is today's president is seen as a protector of the interest of the Philippines and its people and this is why their destabilization drive is not working the way these detractors of Rody plot his ouster.


As long as the great majority of the Filipinos support Rody, despite his bloody war against illegal drugs, and with its payback by way of giving the Filipino people, rich, middle class and poor — at least 81 percent of them — the sense of safety in their households and the streets, Rody is safe from destabilization moves and ouster bids by the yellow opposition and Uncle Sam.
