Catubig Dam - Help for Catubig Agricultural Advancement and the new Convergence project

On June 5, 2010 the Catubig Dam in Las Navas Northern Samar was inaugurated. The dam is major part of a 2.565 billion pesos loan from Japan under the Help for Catubig Agricultural Advancement (HCAAP) project. Las Navas bridge (which was completed and enagurated in the presence of PGMA sometime in June 2009) is part of this project along with some other minor projects like the schistosomiasis eradication efforts in the area.
