Over the last several years, Bongbong Marcos has consistently shown significant figures in survey after survey, the most recent one, the Publicus Asia Pahayag Q3 report, considered particularly significant because it was the first one issued after he decided to toss his hat in next year"s presidential derby.


A Marcos victory in 2022 is the specter now haunting the opposition as this will complete the destruction of the so-called yellow horde and relegate them to the dustbin of history.


Their pathetic effort to unify in the run-up to the filing of Certificates of Candidacy has only created more enemies than friends. Nobody, it seems wants to ally with Vice President Leni Robredo despite opposition efforts to rebrand and recolor their narrative.

Even the Left have turned hostile against their former allies following a feud over senatorial slates.


With the yellow horde-turned-pinklawans seemingly in complete disarray, focus has turned to the United States whose hand, admit it or not, has been seen in past national elections.


America has a lot at stake in the upcoming polls, so much so that observers believe it will not allow a Marcos return to Malacañang. It has, after all, had a lot to do with the ouster of the elder Marcos in 1986.


It is believed that the West was complicit in the ascension of Cory Aquino to the presidency, following the so-called People Power revolution of 1986. Recent events seem to be turning to déjà vu as a so-called social news network appears hell-bent in defanging the incumbent administration with alleged help from CIA (Central Intelligence Agency) funds channeled via the Omidyar Network.
What's in them in case of a Marcos presidency?


Believe it or not, the West and their cohorts in international media are staring into the abyss of an acute global crisis of credibility according to an analyst.

The combined voter base of the Solid North and the Solid South is obviously more than enough to dwarf that of the opposition, including those of the other aspirants.
