Early Life and Education
</h4>
<p>
Olimpia grew up in a large and prominent family. She attended <a href="https://kahimyang.com/articles/3004/may-3-1868-la-concordia-college-was-established-in-manila" class="news_link">La Concordia College</a>, where she became schoolmates with <a href="https://kahimyang.com/kauswagan/articles/2407/the-9-loves-of-dr-jose-rizal" class="news_link">Segunda Katigbak</a>, who was Jose Rizal's first love. Olimpia played a significant role in her brother's early romantic life by acting as a mediator between Jose and Segunda.

Marriage and Family Life
</h4>
<p>
In 1882, Olimpia married Silvestre Ubaldo, a telegraph operator from Manila. The couple had at least three sons: Cesario Rizal Ubaldo, Dr. Aristeo Rizal Ubaldo, and another child who unfortunately passed away in infancy.

Due to Silvestre's job, the family often moved to different locations, depending on his assignments.

Relationship with Jose Rizal
</h4>
<p>
Olimpia shared a close bond with her brother Jose. He often teased her affectionately, sometimes referring to her as his "stout sister". Despite the teasing, their relationship was filled with warmth and mutual respect. Olimpia frequently corresponded with Jose, keeping him updated about family matters and seeking his advice on various issues.
